Medication Aide/Tech Training

Course description

Medication Aides are vital to caregiving teams in the healthcare industry. In this course, you will learn:

  • how to administer medications within the legal scope of allowable practice, all while working under the supervision of RNs
  • how to identify medication classifications and common effects on the body
  • how to follow written instructions of licensed healthcare professionals and accurately document on a medication administration record.

This free training program is provided by the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund. The education partners are the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner and CCRI Division of Workforce Partnerships.
