Book an appointment to get one-on-one assistance with the business registration process
Thinking of starting a new business? There are many steps to take and knowing the important ones up front will help avoid pitfalls.
Woonsocket Education Center will host special consultation sessions offered by the RI Department of State’s Business Services Division in November, and December. Persons who need assistance with registering a business, understanding business licensing, or accessing business support resources can make an appointment to consult with a member of the Business Services Division at the Woonsocket Education Center, 115 Main Street on December 18. One-on-one appointments can be booked between 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with English or Spanish-speaking staff.
The RI Department of State Business Services Division maintains Rhode Island’s state business registry. In addition to recording new business formations and ongoing business registration activity, the division provides guidance and comprehensive services to individuals looking to start and maintain a business or non-profit in Rhode Island.
