This 10-week course that meets once per week is vital for anyone working in the water treatment, water purification, water quality, wastewater treatment and related industries. The training will prepare candidates to successfully complete the state treatment and distribution exams of the Rhode Island Department of Health. Treatment and Distribution exams will be administered through RIDOH at the end of the course. Curriculum topics include:

- Pumps: Centrifugal Pumps, Vertical Turbine, Submersible, Deep-well
- Hydrants: Proper Operation, Hydrant Design
- Meters: Meter Types and Operating Principles; Meter Sizing and Installation
