Together with the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, Department of Labor & Training and the City of Woonsocket, Woonsocket Education Center will be a host of a free community job fair on Thursday, May 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 115 Main Street, Woonsocket.
Local businesses, recruiters, and professional associations will be present to hire into a wide variety of positions. They represent banking, customer service, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, hospitality and non-profit sectors.
To date, the following employers have signed up to be present at the job fair: Allied Universal, Associated Builders & Contractors, Boys and Girls Club of Northern RI, Community Care Alliance, Connecting Children & Families, Dr. Day Care, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Gorra Financial, Landmark Medical Center, Masis Staffing Solutions, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Pawtucket YMCA, Rhode Island Energy, Spirit AeroSystems, The Arc of Bristol County, The Groden Network, Woonsocket Fire Dept., Woonsocket Police Dept., Woonsocket Education Dept., and Woonsocket City Hall.
Parking is available in municipal parking lots and on the street.
