You will Learn to
- Understand medication classifications and their effects on the body
- Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Follow written instructions from licensed healthcare professionals
- Accurately document in a medication administration record

- Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently employed as a licensed CNA in active status
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proof of legal residency
- Letter of recommendation from a registered nurse at your current employer
- Employment at a nursing home facility
This course is possible by the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner, CCRI Division of Workforce Partnerships. This training is 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Labor through an award totaling $333,000.00.
