Medication Aide/Tech Training

Course description

Medication Aides are vital to caregiving teams in the healthcare industry. In this course, you will learn:

  • how to administer medications within the legal scope of allowable practice, all while working under the supervision of RNs
  • how to identify medication classifications and common effects on the body
  • how to follow written instructions of licensed healthcare professionals and accurately document on a medication administration record.

This is a free training program and the education partners are the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner and CCRI Division of Workforce Partnerships.
