If you are interested in helping adults with mental illness and other life challenges receive the proper care to meet their mental, physical, and emotional needs, then being a case manager would be an ideal career for you. This program from CCRI and Community Care Alliance consists of a two-week orientation training followed by two 10-week semesters, plus a 20-29 hour/week paid internship. Students will take three classes per semester in a hybrid format; with one in-person class to be held each week at Woonsocket Education Center.
Program graduates can expect to continue their employment as case managers with Community Care Alliance and will earn a pay increase for successful completion. Successful graduates will earn an academic certificate in case management, 21 college credits, and an industry-recognized credential. Earned credits can later be applied toward an associate degree in social work at CCRI.
